So happy with last nights work. On Friday I quit my job (with no backup plan) in order to declutter and remove stress from my life, allowing me to focus on my goal to make the Commonwealth Games team.
In my first session since, I broke a serious lifting drought and my percentage work actually felt like percentages. Even got a cheeky new 3 rep max front squat. You wouldn't even know my foot is sprained.
Fk yes. I am well and truly back in the game. Just goes to show how detrimental stress is, and that you have to follow your gut.
