Only one month ago I took a leap of faith to pursue a passion of mine.
I left the security of my 8-5 corporate office job to fully focus on my fitness/health goals & coaching clients.
I didn’t know how things would end up, but I had faith in my knowledge, drive & HEART. ❤️
So I jumped.
I went all in.
I just went for it.

Now here we are finishing up May... and each new day seems to simply reassure me that I made the right decision. 🙏🏼
I thank the universe for pushing me.
For that little voice inside my head saying “Just do it. Follow your heart.”

This past month I have been working with several amazing women. Working with them to determine what simple lifestyle changes they can make to optimize their health, get to their fitness goals and help live the life they were MADE to live.

Vilken dag och vilken tävling! 😍 Ett silver blev det idag på #diamondcupmadrid och trots att man givetvis alltid är ute efter guldet är jag ändå helt klart nöjd med dagens resultat eftersom detta var min första tävling ute i europa. Har haft lyckorus ändå sen vi landade i Spanien och det har varit en helt fantastisk erfarenhet att få tävla här nere. Och att ha med min coach @kjellstrommartin på resan är verkligen ovärderligt och jag har varit i bästa tänkbara händer tack vare honom! Nu ska vi ut ikväll och äta en bit mat och sen laddar vi om till nästa tävling som går i Italien nästa helg. Är taggad till tusen!!!! 💪👊 Tack förresten för alla lyckönskningar som ni har skickat i helgen, har läst allt och det värmer gott ska ni veta! 💕

A plan is just a plan. It can only be effective if you consistently work to execute it.

There is no special Michael Jordan water....
.
There are no magic beans...
.
There are no special exercises...
.
Your decisions are how you achieve your goals.
.
Will you get to the gym when you planned, even tho you have no motivation to go?
.
Are you going to eat healthy, even tho everyone around you is eating like crap?
.
Are we going to consistently take your supplements at the proper time to fulfill our bodies needs?
.
Are you going to drink a gallon of water or more a day?
.
I am not worried about immediate results. Rather long term. With my workout routines not being as on point as they are going to be when I get back to my normal routines and my diet being pretty solid - I am excited to where I will go.
.
Focusing on to many things a time is hard. So focus on one. And then will all come together.
Focusing on one good decision at a time.
.
If you are struggling ... if you are overwhelmed ... if you feel stuck ... .
Then take a step back, and get back to the basics. From this moment forward just make one good decision at a time.
.
Ask yourself “will this bring me closer to my goal?”

The Inverted Row.

This is a great back exercise, that much like the Push Up often gets ignored because you can end up performing hundreds of reps in order to challenge yourself.
-
Solve this by walking further away or even elevating the feet.
-
Hell if you get good at that you can even add load in the form of a weighted vest or a plate on the chest.
-
I promise you will find a variation of this move that will suit your current level of fitness - it would be a great move for this reason alone.
-
But there are more reasons.
-
First of all think of the Inverted Row as being akin to the exact opposite of a push up.
-
It’s usually performed with a suspension trainer, or a set of rings but you can also do this using a barbell fixed in a rack or a Smith Machine.
-
Make sure that as you pull, your body moves as one straight line, and continue the movement until you get a good squeeze in between in your shoulder blades.
-
Aim to keep the chest as tall and proud as you can throughout the movement to prevent the front of the shoulder gliding forwards.
-
As with most back movements, aim for smoothness and control.
-
Slowly lower yourself back to the start position and go again.
