Did you know that we actually use more energy... negative energy at that... stressing over whatever it is than actually just doing it or figuring it out?
Whatever’s got you worried, just take time to figure it out and do what ya need to do to fix what you can. Even if that is just accepting that some things are out of your control and meditating or praying (whatever your thing is) to give peace of mind. .

We just throw everything what we have in the fridge 🤣Don’t need to be perfect. Easy combine all the macro & micronutrients. You can do it yourself from scratch it takes only 30minutes😉
Turned out well😋

Bacon medallions with vegetables
Ingredients:
1 table spoon of coconut oil
2 Carrots
2 Garlic cloves
Pack of Mushrooms
1/2 pack of spinach
Handful of chopped fresh parsley
6 bacon medallions
Salt & fresh grounded black pepper
Preparation:
Scrape, wash, cut the carrots, fry them on pan on coconut oil until soften add chopped garlic.
Wash & cut mushrooms. Add to rest ingredients on the pan fry until soft and less watery add washed spinach. Add chopped Presley, salt & pepper for taste.
Cook for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally. In the meantime grilling bacon medallions in separate grill pan.
Served all on the plate.
We add our orange & ginger juice on the side;) Enjoy

Today is January 17th ... I heard on the radio this morning that this is the day that most people give up on their New Years Resolutions... that’s the problem with a resolution without a plan ... there is no accountability... no one to cheer you on ... no one to coach you and keep you going until you reach your goal... I’m not quitting ... I became a Fitness coach so I could help others ... not give up ! So I could inspire them to know what getting results and making healthy changes can feel like... and look like ... inside and out ... to support and cheer for you and share solutions that get you results ... if I can ... why not you ?! So ... are you giving up ? Or do you need a better plan? With accountability and support and someone in your corner that has your back and won’t let you quit ... ?

I wanted to take a moment to address something that’s been on my mind. In a world where we have options options options, I really encourage you to tune out all the chatter of other people telling you what you should be doing, what you should be eating, when you should be doing it, and how you should be doing it. We all have busy lives. We have to do what is good for ourselves and not let anyone tell us just because what works for them is going to be our answer. Personally, I have kids I’m home with during the day that keep me busy, running around, and TIRED. Evenings are my jam to get out and move! It’s my opportunity to move my body and take up space and challenge myself! And I freaking LOVE it! I feel strongest and most clear-headed in the evenings! I think sometimes people forget that this is also my JOB! It’s mostly fun and games, but my schedule isn’t better or worse than yours, it’s just flip flopped! Working my ass off at home during the day and being with my family, and MY version of decompressing comes from teaching and instructing at night. Does that mean its better than someone who works out of the home during the day and gets their workout in before they leave? Or right when they get home at 4 or 5pm?? Absolutely not! You will NEVER see me knocking the early-birds or people who find it better to get their workout in early in the day. You know why? Because they’re still getting it in! And that’s always going to be the important part! This year I also shifted my mindset with how I fuel my body! My only focus has been “nourish first, satisfy second” which in turn has me upping my plants and lowering my junk. Does that mean I don’t eat Oreos when I want them? HELL NO. I’m human. But this has been working for ME this month and I feel so much peace not allowing everyone else’s opinions to throw me off. Let’s try to keep in mind that just because we have our own reasons for doing what we’re doing, those who are doing differently aren’t wrong, they’re doing THEM! Honor that! Support that! There is no one-size-fits-all in life, fitness, or health!

Tip #4: Detox, Detox, Detox Reguarly ... from Social Media! 📱🙅🏽‍♀️ There are plenty of benefits to giving the phone a rest for a couple hours a day, to designate cut off times (ahem, bedtime scrollers!) or even attempt to go weeks or a months at a time without checking what your favorite celebrity is currently ranting about. We can talk about the mental aspects all day (anxiety relief from comparing your life to what others' lives "appear" to be, and curing the depression that ignorant posts on politics and marginalized groups of people can bring on. 💟
But we also don't talk about the physical stress of constantly having your phone in your hands can bear on your body! Reducing your scroll time will help alleviate those tendonitis symptoms that's creeping up on your forearms and wrists as well as release that stiff neck tension - you know, because you keep your head in the down position for 75% of your day? Hello! 💟

Don't be afraid to unplug for a little bit to focus your attention on your other needs and desires. Get to work on that home improvement project you've been wanting to complete, or plan a trip away from home. The thought of no 'Gram giving you anxiety? Call (yes - remember telephone calls? LOL!) an older family member that can inform you of what live was like before the "Likes"- and remind you that you'll survive. Happy Detoxing! 💟

Ok I'll play... On the left is July of 2009. I had just quit my job at the hotel and was about to start my new job at BofA. Trinity is almost 11 months old and I was pregnant with Izzy, but didn't know it yet🤣. I was the thinnest I had been in a while, but was still hiding behind my kids in pics or not in them at all. I wasn't happy with how I looked and felt that way for a while. .

The pic on the right is from a few weeks ago Jan 2019! I've had 4 kids, I no longer work at the bank, I no longer hide behind my children or anyone in pics, and I'm happy with my body and my job! I'm the thinnest and STRONGEST I've EVER been (even in my high school days) and I love my job! In fact I wouldn't call what I do a "job". It's my PASSION, my FIRE, my PURPOSE! I help people change their lives by making their health and fitness a priority and I do this through my coaching as a FASTer Way to Fat Loss® coach and as a group fitness instructor!! .
