@plankingforpizza "I do not like sharing my macros (❗️they are VERY individualized for ME and using them would be a disservice to you because they are not designed for your body or your needs). I am doing so today because I think there are a few really important things to share! I posted a lengthy blog post this morning detailing out my macro journey so far and that can be found on plankingforpizza.com 🤗 Here are the key take away points I want to emphasize:
-Most people will not lose 2lbs a week eating 2000cals like I did in the beginning. Weight loss isn't just about cals in vs cals out. It's about eating as much as you can while striving for a .5-1 lb loss a week which is individually based given current dietary habits! Depriving your body of the fuel it needs actually does more harm than good, so less food is not always better solution!
-Your carb and fat breakdown is loosely based on personal preference. I like my carbs and no I don't eat too many 💁🏼
-When my macros need adjustment, I decrease by about 10-15g carbs and 3-5g fat. This very slow decrease has made adjusting to lower calories very easy because it's such a small change.
-I'm 5'5" and I've gone from a 33" waist to a 28.5" waist.
-Since tracking the past 10 months, my daily calorie intake has only gone down by about 300 calories. It has been a very slow, incremental, and sustainable method to weight loss. Sustainable and maintainable body recomposition takes TIME. Hate to break it to ya, but there is no such thing as a quick fix. Temporary solutions are just that: temporary! I've lost 16lbs in this time and, I know that may not seem like a lot in 10 months, but I'm not in this for the "quick fix" just to gain it back again. Sure I could have lost more had I been more compliant and on point 100% of the time. But in between goals, there were birthdays, graduations, weddings, and just having fun and living life too! So I'm not sweating those extra pounds I could have lost because those pounds equate to laughter, celebrations, and memories ☺️

Last few days have been fast, which means today we go heavy! How heavy, that’s relative. Today, I managed to work up to 150kg for 5 which I haven’t done in months. .

It’s awesome to see how doing Crossfit means I maintain a good amount of strength without having to do tons of training on one specific movement like squats to see strength improvements.

In my opinion if you are good at programming CrossFit and you’re scaling workings to suit you and not playing towards your strengths, you never need a specialised strength cycle.

The beauty of Crossfit is not having to specialise and getting to do everything all week.

Ich bin schon seit 06.30 Uhr auf und hab schon alles für den heutigen Tag geplant und muss bevor es in die Arbeit geht noch zum einkaufen.

There is so much I want for my life and so much that hasn't happened for me. It's so discouraging living this life, day after day same routine when all you can see is what you WANT your life to be. Dafür habe ich mir einen epischen Blaubeer, Walnuss Kuchen gebacken, der mit seiner Makroverteilung super in meine Diät passt und mir trotzdem alles liefert was ich für ein intensives Training brauche.💪👊 Eine Diät muss nicht zwingend stumpf und eintönig sein...✌️😎 BLAUBEER WALLNUSS KUCHEN 👉 LOW FAT 👈
👉 LOW CARB 👈
💪 HIGH PROTEIN 💪

Rezept 👇🏻
200g Magerquark
50g Dinkelmehl Vollkorn
50g Whey Protein zb. Butterkeks oder Vanille
100g Buttermilch
1 Ei
5g Backpulver
5g Flavour zb. Vanille Heidelbeere
50g Blaubeeren
30g Walnüsse

Topping:
250g Magerquark
5g Flavour eurer Wahl
1 Packung Gelatine Fix
30g Blaubeeren

Die Zutaten (außer Blaubeeren und Nüsse) miteinander verrühren bis ein Teig entsteht. Danach die Beeren und Nüsse unterheben. Jetzt den Teig in eine Form geben (ggf. Einfetten) und bei 180 Grad ca. 30 Minuten backen.
Nun den Magerquark mit Flavour süßen und mit der Gelatine Fix steif schlagen. Danach auf dem Kuchen in der Form verteilen und die Blaubeeren darüber verteilen.

Squats. Squats have always been a huge challenge throughout my fitness journey so far. Here I am performing 5 sets of squats 8reps each! I have not yet been able to hit 155 again for multiple reps (only 1 or 2 solid depth and good form) so I went down in weight to be able to do reps with good form. This is my last set of squats as you can see I am shaking towards the end.

I also wanted to talk/point out my Cellulite on my legs.
I’ve had it for a long time as I've grown during my bulk and I have come to terms with it. I have a lot of stretch marks too; it is completely normal! Yes, there are ways to decrease the amount of cellulite by building muscle, eating healthy, and leaning out. Since my body takes longer to gain weight I have not had the chance to lean out yet, but it honestly does not bother me, everyone has it! Embrace it.

I finally did it! I’ve been trying so hard to gain strength in my legs for about 2 years now. There was a time when I first started lifting where I would stand by the smith machine watching powerlifters/bodybuilders squat 100lbs+, lifting it like it was no big deal. Thinking to myself that if I tried I would make a complete fool of myself. That mentality messed me up every time I attempted to try that caused me to fail. I realized that my mind was holding me back & learned to clear it and not to think too much. But After falling to the ground to not being able to lift myself back up, I finally did it. Not only was I able to squat just the 45lbs barbell but 2 sets of 1 rep of 135lbs today. This has been one of my biggest accomplishments yet! I've never been so proud of myself.
I know I started a vlog as well as a fitness Instagram. I randomly posted one vlog and a few videos that I delete a month or so ago. The reason for me doing so was because I honestly had way too much negativity in my life. Don't get me wrong but not only was it everything around me but also within myself. I lost a lot of confidence along the way and I'm sure half of the supporters I had, but I'm back & I am stronger than ever! I took the time that was needed to build myself up again and I want to keep inspiring people to do the same! What I learnt through the time I was off social media was to never give up, no matter how much negativity you get through out your journey. So, here's to me starting over! 💪🏼🤗
