My feet are almost back on the ground and my head has almost caught up with what has happened in the last 48 hrs.

Not going to lie, I came into the comp doubting myself. A few tears yesterday, very emotional and found it very challenging mentally being here alone. Yes, I’m a perfectionist and at the same time I’m very accepting of the fact this is a sport which is very subjective. It’s really strange how we perceive ourselves and looking back, I’m proud of how I’ve developed over the past few months with all the niggles I’ve had.
Firstly, a big thankyou my coach Lochi. You are phenomenal at what you do. To be able to have a 6 week prep is just amazing. Building muscle without piling on body fat is a huge blessing. Even though I haven’t seen you in person for 12 months, it’s been a huge learning curve for me, one that doesn’t stop. I can’t imagine working with anyone else, even when I have my melt downs (bloody hormones). Utterly grateful. To Mel, who is my comp teammate. It’s been delightful, refreshing and bloody awesome to have you as a sounding board on my tough days. You inspire the shit out of me. Can’t wait to enjoy a with you.
To my parents for their constant support. Although they’ve never been to a comp, they are so understanding of my passion and do what they can behind the scenes.
