Bodyweight Upper Body HIIT:
-20 plank to push-ups
-12 burpees
-15 bodyweight shoulder presses
-30 mountain climbers

Hamstring ball curls are a MUST!! The struggle to keep yourself on the damn ball is a work out in itself, but the dragging motion burns deep into the calves, gluteus muscles, piriformis, as well as the EN.TI.IRRRRE length of the hamstrings.
.
The move builds the mind-to-muscle connection because you're trying to multitask balance and motion simultaneously. This exercise also is really good for your knees and lower back, especially if you have previous knee or back injuries.

#TBT workout edition ~ "Lower body with band", a great workout when you travel or workout at home. All you need is a band 🙌
1) Start with lateral side walk, from side to side 2 steps at the time, total 50 steps.
2) Squat jumps 20 reps, keep your band above your knees.
3) Straight leg kick back on the floor, 20 reps each leg.
4) One leg deadlift, 20 each leg.
5) Squat with straight leg kick back 15 reps each side.
Repeat whole routine 5-6 times.

PULLEY FRENTE x PULLEY COSTAS: QUAL É A DIFERENÇA?

Sem dúvida são dois dos principais exercícios para se construir bons dorsais, porém muita gente já se perguntou: Qual a diferença? ou qual é o melhor?
Para responder isso, precisamos entender o exercício. Os dois tem a mesma função, trabalham o latíssimo do dorso (grande dorsal) e tem como auxiliares bíceps, braquial e braquiorradial.
Sobre a diferença: Falando em eficiência, os dois são excelentes. Mas o Pulley Costas tem uma ativação muscular maior porque se trata de um movimento de predominância do grande dorsal, quando você puxa na frente, o músculo peitoral acaba auxiliando durante a puxada tirando uma pequena porcentagem de esforço do dorsal. A diferença é pequena mais existe.

E então, qual o melhor? A resposta é depende. A diferença de ativação muscular existe, porém é pequena. Além disso, o Pulley Frente tem a vantagem de ser mais confortável e seguro pras articulações, principalmente para cervical, pois você fica com ela estabilizada e alinhada durante todo movimento.
Falando em segurança, já pensou se o cabo estoura durante o pulley costas? A barra desce com tudo na sua cabeça ou pescoço podendo causar lesões graves.
Por isso, como professor eu acho prudente fazer o Pulley Frente quando estiver utilizando de grandes cargas e o Pulley Costas quando estiver utilizando técnicas ou periodizações que não demandem tanta carga.

Breaking away from a structured program for a little bit while out of town. Didn't have much equipment in the fitness center but was still able to get in a decent back and bicep day. (Sorry about the lighting in some of these shots). If you have a TRX at your gym, TRY THIS SPLIT SQUAT VARIATION👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I swear the stretch and glute engagement was no joke 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

1️⃣elevated RDL’s (wide stance): RE-ENGAGE those glutes with each rep! This really helps me make that mind muscle connection
2️⃣TRX/bosu ball Bulgarian split squat: elevate the working foot on the bosu and place the opposite foot in the TRX. Hold the weight on the side of the working leg. Lunges down and press into that front foot (ouch)
3️⃣lying hamstring curl: swan dive down (lol) and keep your hips against the machine as you curl up
4️⃣banded shuffles: band at the knee, step and engage the glute with each step
5️⃣RDL’s (did a closer stance to hit the outer hams, those are weak for me): I liked the kettle bells besides my legs as I was lowering down
6️⃣hip thrusts: we got a female bar in at the gym!! (35lbs and shorter) so it made hip thrusts feel much nicer. Be sure to tuck your tailbone as you thrust.
