Challenge yourself in ways you've never challenged yourself before! •
Women to Warriors isn't just about becoming physically stronger. We'll focus just as heavily on developing mental strength and confidence. •
The camp will be structured as 3 x 60 min sessions per week teaching you how to move and push your body with free weights, this is pared with weekly challenges that encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and teach you what you're capable of!!

Sessions will run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5.30pm - first 6 week block starts January 29th! •

🍔Counting macronutrients May sound complicated because fitness jargon can sound confusing if you’re not familiar with it. Everything is better when it’s simplified and counting macros is not different. If you’ve been tracking your calories and/or wanting to track your macros, use the following template as a guide.

🍗So lets say there is 23g of protein in a 4oz serving of ground turkey that has 160 calories (Using a 93:7 lean ratio). 70 calories come from fat which leaves 90 total calories. Because 4g of Protein = 1 calorie you’d divide 90/4 = 22.5 (23).

➗Depending what macro you’re using just divide by that given calorie:gram equivalent (4 or 9). That type of math is if you’re really looking to be precise with everything you’re measuring. This isn’t necessary for most people unless you’re competing or looking to be that committed.

📲The ratios provide are just generic and simple as an example. The ratios would change depending on your goals/body/diet plan. I’d recommended trying something out for at least a 3-4 weeks and see how it goes. The ratios can always be adjusted. Also, our bodies aren’t actual calculators, and there can be variability to each person. This isn’t absolutely necessary but can definitely work.

#mondaymotivation ...I never thought I'd be able to stay away from training for a whole week, let alone 10 days when I was traveling! My body and my mind (even more so) needed it. I came back from Thailand feeling refreshed and more motivated than ever... except this time I have been training with less structure, focusing more on what I'm in the mood for 🐒and it was #deadlifts today 💁🏻

So my scale and non-scale victories after my first week of the 21-day challenge: I’m down 9.2 lbs and down ANOTHER pant size! (Like a dodo I forgot to take a waist measurement so y’all will have to wait for that. I’ll update this post when I do take my measurements.) I’m super stoked about my results because it’s the best I have ever done during detox week during what is one of the most challenging times of the year. I’m also excited because I’m officially in a pant size that I haven’t seen since Freshman year of high school, which was many moons ago LOL!🌕🌕🌕. I decided to do a detox because I was stuck in a plateau and needed a boost.
By the way, when you make a decision to take control of your health ANYTIME is a great time to start. My next update will be in about 2 weeks, so stay tuned for that peeps. If you’re thinking about changing your health just take action and DO IT! The best gift you can ever give yourself is a healthy life and remember you are worth it and deserving of that.
