Guys you have got to try them if you want to lose weight and get fit or even just eat healthy this Ramzan, Nutrack has introduced their iftar menu from which they sent a Mexican sandwich to me. ๐ŸŒฏ
This yummy meal had chicken chunks, caramelized onions, shredded cabbage, carrots, and capsicum with a spicy sauce, all in a toasty whole grain bread; along with carrots and cucumbers with extra hot sauce in a little container.
Not only was it super delicious and spicy, it was also very filling and I was full quite soon!
What I loved most about this is the fact that all the veggies in this healthy sandwich were very fresh and crunchy and I savoured every bite.
This is like subway but way more filling and healthy!
You've got to try them out and see for yourself. Currently they're offering sehri, iftari, and dinner meals. ๐Ÿ‘…

Ok so yesterday's leg workout was so freaking hard for some reason and I can barley walk today. I always get sore, but I haven't felt this sore in forever. soooooo this is good I guess ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

One of the super sets I did, which is my fav (I don't necessarily like it, it's just sf HARD) is hip thrusts followed by dumbbell RDLs. Keep the weight HEAVY - 10 hip thrusts, then 10 RDLs, then rest for 30 seconds. Do 4 sets!!! It is KILLER ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ and if you wanna make it even harder, add a resistance band around your legs.... good luck ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ’ฆ

I have been a member at the gym for over 5 years now. And tbh the first few years I wasn't well educated. I went to workout and get a good sweat on, but never really focused on my eating. Although, I always made exercise and the gym a priority my whole life. I am STILL leaning what works best for my body and how to improve - there is always room for improvement. It has taken me years to learn how to properly put on muscle mass/burn fat and still maintain the muscle I have. Years of learning about nutrition and how important each food group is for the body. Leaning about how exercise and nutrition go hand in hand. If you do not focus on one or the other, then you probably won't see many changes. There are always new things to learn about in the fitness industry! Fitness is not easy and it never will be! It takes a lot of dedication, discipline, and learning!!!! Leaning what works best for you, because not one body is made the same and everyone's body reacts differently to things. One thing might work amazing for someone and it might not for you (ex: intuitive eating vs. if it fits your macros) If this were easy then everyone would do it!!!!

These pictures are almost 3 years apart. Neither body shape is better than the other - just one is closer to the goals I have in mind. Closer to finding what works for me. It has taken A LOT of time to learn what works best for my body and my mind, and I am still trying new things to see what works best!!! There are a million of ways to do things, so give it time, try it all out, and you will figure it out. It is important to be mentally happy during this whole journey and I am finally finding that balance that works for ME. Never compare yourself to anyone because for all you know they're on year 5 of their fitness journey and you're only on day 1!!!!!! Focus on you and only push yourself to be better than you were the day before, not better than any one else.

This transformation just goes to show that it takes TIME to put on muscle. I didn't even realize how big the difference in my legs is until I looked at these photos side by side. Stay consistent and you WILL 100% reach the goals that you are chasing after.

Simple Pleasures ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
Raw Vegan Frozen Berry Cups.

Filling:
1/2 cup frozen berries
1 frozen banana ๐ŸŒ
1/2 cup almond milk
1scoop @idealfit vegan strawberry protein powder
1 tbsp maple syrup

Line a muffin pan with silicon or paper baking cup muffin liners.
Blend the filling ingredients in blender until smooth. Press into liners and freeze for 1 hour or overnight.
Top with blueberries.
Enjoy ! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

I made my favourite and super easy vegan pancakes this morning, topped with honey, peaches, blueberries and strawbs ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹ I'll leave you the recipe below!

I N G R E D I E N T S :
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
I N S T R U C T I O N S:
In a mixing bowl, combine flour,baking powder and salt. Add almond milk and apple cider vinegar, vanilla and mix well. Let it rest 5 mins.
Preheat non stick pan and cook pancakes on medium to low heat.
Add your favorite toppings ๐Ÿ“

If you're hitting a plateau in your fitness journey and don't know how to get out of it, here are a few ways to increase the intensity of your workouts:
-
1๏ธโƒฃ add supersets into your routine - this is when you do 2 exercises back to back with no rest in between
2๏ธโƒฃ add drop sets into your routine - this is when you complete a set of the exercise you are performing, then drop the weight and continue the movement until failure
3๏ธโƒฃ take less rest time in between each set
4๏ธโƒฃ increase the weight on your movements (only if your form is perfect!)
5๏ธโƒฃ instead of counting your reps, go until failure for all of your sets

Always create a new small goal each week. Small changes add up and will get you closer to your overall goal sooner that you know it. My new goal this week is to reach at least 10,000 steps a day. What is yours?
