This #transformationtuesday I want to step away from the progress aspect and talk about weight fluctuation because I don’t think it’s discussed quite enough. .
These photos were all taken within ~3 weeks of each other. Some were taken in the morning before I’d eaten, and some were after eating, taking pre workout, and lifting. .
As if mentioned before, I’m not a competitor, nor a trainer, this is just the lifestyle I’ve chosen since my dance career ended after high school. Because I feel like it’s a choice, rather than an obligation, I’m not always extra hard on myself. Sometimes life gets in the way, or sometimes money, hormones, water intake, and other factors contribute to my weight fluctuating. .
I think that Instagram paints a picture that fit girls are always looking their best, but that’s not true. The “posed vs unposed” and “instagram vs reality” posts are even still a little skewed. Sometimes I do my best to pose, and I’m still a lil chunky on my sides or back. And sometimes even when I’ve been eating super clean consistently, I’m still too hopelessly bloated to even suck in to snap a pic. .
The point is, some days, weeks, months will be better for others and that’s fiiiiiine. Maintenance is sometimes the hardest part! Give yourself a break
