“What’s your personal style?” is a question designers are asked ALL THE TIME... and I feel like I’ve never perfected my answer. Maybe the truth is I don’t know- and I’m willing to bet that a lot of my fellow designers would agree. I was born and raised in the south, which gave me a love of antiques and tradition. I started my career at the beach, which seeped into my soul and lends a coastal Flair (pun intended) to my personal style. I live to travel, which provides endless inspiration and much of the artwork my husband and I enjoy collecting. My home, Atlanta, is a major metropolitan area- which adds a modern twist to my spaces... And last but certainly not least, I am a mom to a curious, active little girl, an energetic goldendoodle, and a fiesty little kitten so performance is a MUST in my personal furnishing choices. I guess my style is, quite simply, to surround myself with things I love. Sentimental pieces are my favorites- like our china cabinet which we found at an estate sale in the first neighborhood we lived in together and chalk painted to the perfect shade of grey... and our @vietriinc dinnerware collection which our friends and family gave us as wedding gifts 10 (omg can’t believe it) years ago... and our dining table (which is just a little too big for our intimate dining space) that my dad had built for the first restaurant he owned and later held ripening peaches in my grandparents home in Highlands, NC... and happily I was blessed with an eye that can pull it all together (I thank my super talented mom for that)!
Would love to help you pull the things you love in to a beautiful, unique design!
