I first graced @digbethdiningclub with my obscenely tall presence earlier on this year (February or March, I think) on a Thursday evening and hadn’t the foggiest idea of what to expect, let alone on what to eat!
After perusing between the number of stalls I thought, let’s try something completely out of my comfort zone, which is partly because I always seem to revert straight to the burger section at restaurants (it’s an irritating habit 😂). So after all this, I decided on @saibuddhabelly 🥢
But oh my, what an eye opening experience!
For a man that has never ever had much likening to Thai food, this was one hell of a change.
The Marinated Crispy Chicken, as pictured above on 24/08/209, is a mouth watering 🤤 and lip-smackingly gooooooood 😋 combination of flavours and textures.
Sat on a bed of rice drenched in a spicy or mild panang sauce 🍚 or curried noodles 🍜(the choice is yours my friend) are four generous chunks of crispy battered chicken 🐓 that has been marinated in a fusion of Thai herbs and spices. In addition you have a good sprinkling of peppers 🌶, more herbs 🌿 and dried crispy onions as well as a spoonful of cucumber 🥒 to really balance out those flavours and send your taste palette into a frenzy!
It is by far my most favourite place at the venue in Digbeth purely for their adoration for flavours, presentation and knowing what’s good and what their greedy customers want 😎
So guys, whenever you’re next there and fancy a kick-ass pot of glorious mouthgasming, swing by and take a look at their menu! If you like a bit of a spice in your life 🥵, I would also recommend trying their Spicy Chicken Panang which is simply devilish 😈 .
