Drawing of Edward Elric in my best attempt at the FMAB style.
I think that it looks good
I wanted to focus more on shading and creating depth in my art (that's why there's no color) and I think that I accomplished that. Lately I've been feeling a little stuck with my art and I know where I want to go just not how to get there. I think drawing in different style s will help me get there with drawing new and more complex things
I hope to make more art like this from other series. #art#fmabrotherhood
Do you like the original anime or brotherhood more?
I'd painted Edward since the voice actor was at Supercon. My friend got a print signed for me and he said he liked my art () FMA was one of my favorite anime of all time, so I had a blast with this piece! The metallic gold paint makes it look so cool in person, I hoped it would make it to look all magical and alchemy-ish and it didn't disappoint.
The next few posts will be the traditional pieces that I did before Supercon. I'm not sure how, but I was super productive for like a week and managed to make almost 6 pieces in the course of 2 days! They're mostly traditional since I work faster traditionally. I've been getting faster with digital art, but I don't think I'll ever prefer it lol
Lastly, if you've read this far, I've been trying to write longer captions on posts recently. I think it might be more fun if people to see my thought process when I create, should I continue?
