So I got this paint roller to roll out my calf muscles when I started doing #Schuhplattler (a type of #folkdancing from Bavaria, Austria, S. Tyrol) since it can be quite a workout for the calves (my ex wasn't very happy with me using the stainless steel pastry scraper/cutter tool with a rolled edge that also worked amazingly well for this purpose). Litttle did I know that it also worked for rolling out calf and thigh muscles after horse riding. #masterspentathlon#oldmanstillcan#lifehacks#horselife#pentathlonsean
The past few days have been some of the best days I’ve experienced in my life! I participated in Bon Odori in Japan the past several nights and I had so much fun dancing with friends. I’m also completely gobsmacked by the strangers who came up to me several times each night to compliment me on my dancing. It was a sincere gesture that truly made me so happy. As I sit here enjoying the last few hours I have in Japan, I can’t help but reminisce about how amazing the past 2 months have been here and I’m looking forward to returning next year for more adventures!!!

This was unreal! 20,000 singers and over 50,000 attendees singing and celebrating 100 years of independence together at the Latvian Song Festival!
The Latvian culture is rich with song and dance! This is the only event of its kind worldwide and it was an amazing experience to be a part of!
The Latvians recognize their Independence Day in 1918 after WWI. This was short lived as they were taken under control during WWII and didn’t regain their independence back until 1991 after the USSR was dismantled.
These songs represent everything they’ve experienced in their long history and you can absolutely feel this passion and love they have for their country and culture!
