If your 'dietician' tells you that eating avocados and asparagus will help you get better results when it comes to weight loss, always ask for the logic behind it if you really wish to believe them. I personally suggest That the best kind of diet is the one that fits your budget, taste and one that keeps your satiated. All that matters is whether you're in a caloric deficit, tracking your macros to some extent, eating fiberous food and resistance training.
So basically, cauliflower instead of broccoli is not going to hamper your progress in anyway. Stop believing in myths and do what works for you. .
