TG's, The Oriental Grill.
Every once a while Ahmedabad is caught in a stupor by a restaurant which lives up to its commitment of great food and experience. The most recent introduction in the dining scene of the city is, TG’s.
We visited the day it opened it’s doors for public and once again, last weekend. We did not want to jinx it and hence waited to make atleast two visits, set apart by few weeks, to ensure that it wasn’t just the beginner’s luck and that they are here for the long haul.
TG’s welcomes you into their hyperactive environment with bright illumination, peppy music, scuttering stewards and the live teppanyaki counters (minus the flaming onion trick). It will leave you restless until you find yourself a table and unfold your experience.
The menu structure will take you by surprise. The strategic pricing with the disclaimer of the portion to be expected, everything was a first for a star rated dining experience.
