Since I'm a foodie I figured why not give some honest reviews on the restaurants I go to. So last night I went to @jamiesitalianvienna and my expectations where high. I loved the atmosphere and the whole interior decorated similar to a New Yorker diner/ Italian restaurant. The food was somewhat disappointing to be honest. We started off with calamari fritti a classic and although the crust was fantastic the calamari were hard and tough, for someone like me who visits Italy on a regular basis an absolute no-go. My main dish were spaghetti with crab meat and capers and my girlfriend had linguine with scampi and tomato sauce. My dish was perfectly fine, the noodles wer al dente, the sauce was good even the crab meat was great and everything blended in, but in relation to price and reputation I had expected more. The dish my girlfriend had was a bit boring, with the tomato sauce being so sweet it kind lacked in taste a bit. For desert we shared the warm chocolate cake which was great, although we were missing the molten chocolate core promised on the menu. All in all it was an interesting experience, with the service lacking attention and being fairly overtaxed, reminding me that reputation is not everything. I know I'm being critical but it is my personal opinion. I'd give @jamiesitalianvienna 6 out of 10 points. .
