Thanks to everyone who has bought a copy of Together, the Hubb Community Kitchen has been renovated to capture its joyful spirit, creating a safe space to bring the community together over food.
The women are now able to use the kitchen seven days a week, and have been empowered to gain food qualifications and to start their own new projects to help others in their community.
They have begun working on a group for women affected by domestic violence, a scheme to deliver nutritious, freshly cooked meals for women on maternity wards, and a project to produce healthy treats for children.

Egg cartons are confusing. There are only two things to care about: the amount of space a hen has and what she eats.
I always go for Handsome Brook Farm organic, pasture raised eggs. Most space, best feed. Happy, healthy hens make better eggs.

Let’s boost our immune system with the largest citrus there is, the Pomelo!

We overheard a kid ask their parent for this beautiful big fruit, and the parent said, “no we don’t know what that is” and kept walking. (Not judging them, just made us ponder).

It made us think, HEY 🤗 lets get to know ALL the beautiful varieties of fruits and vegetables because variety is key! Look what they just missed out on, the king of citrus fruits, meaning a king size dose of vitamin C to help keep our immune system strong during the cold & flu season!

Nothing can beat street style Singapore Chowmein 😍 I recently went to South Ex Market Part 2; If you have been staying in Delhi all your life, then you can't afford to miss grabbing a plate of Bhel Puri and some Chinese food from the corner shop! This place has been there since 1980s and even before I think, because my Mom has like a dozen of stories and memories attached to this place. The food here is just amazing !! 😍

Banane chocolat glacé

INGRÉDIENTS
2 bananes (ou autres fruits, selon votre préférence)
1 plaquette de chocolat noir
1 poignée d’amandes, de noisettes et de pistaches OU de la poudre de noix de coco

Couper les bananes en deux
Planter une pique à bout rond (idéalement un bâtonnet plat en bois spécial esquimaux maison) dans chacune des moitiés.
Placer les bananes au congélateur 10 minutes pour leur donner un petit coup de froid.
Pendant ce temps, faire fondre le chocolat au bain-marie le chocolat.

Ensuite, il faut faire vite :
Plonger les bananes dans le chocolat.
Saupoudrer généreusement avec les toppings notre coco (ou autres)
Il faut faire vite car le chocolat fige rapidement.
Placer l’ensemble au congélateur.
Sortir du congélateur 5 petites minutes avant de servir. La banane redeviendra ainsi moelleuse sans perdre l’intérêt du dessert glacé !

Ah...pizza... life’s finest foods 🍕. It’s easy to make and customizable to fit anyone’s tastes. This was an extremely last minute late night visit, I decided to get the Halloumi & Tomato pizza. I loved the bread, tomato and olives on the pizza but the cheese felt like rubber. ( I don’t know if this is what the texture was suppose to be but I didn’t like it 😞) Other than that, I seriously love their hot pitas, in-house hummus and their lentil soup 🤤 but I’ll avoid the pizza for now!

The cells in our bodies are constantly dividing, regenerating, and dying, but each cell’s life cycle is different. The cells lining the stomach, because they’re exposed to acid, replace themselves about every five days. Cells in the epidermis last about a week. Red blood cells live for approximately four months in the body, while hepatocytes (liver cells) live about five. These hardworking but disposable cells take a lot of punishment; they’re easily manufactured and easily replaced. Our skin cells completely replace themselves about every 30 days. Of course, one other big determining factor is chronological age. Cellular turnover slows as part of the normal aging process; stem cells divide less quickly and less efficiently, and eventually the rate of dying cells outpaces the rate of new cells being born. That is why your diet is so important!!! For tissue growth and repair, the right nutrients are critical. Specific nutrients are needed for cellular repair and renewal: protein (essential amino acids), vitamins A, C, B6, and B12, zinc, selenium, folate, iron, and copper are all needed on a daily basis.
