Hej! 🍕🍤
Dziś miejsce do którego zgodnie z obietnicą wróciłyśmy ! Radzimy również przed wizytą, nawet w środku tygodnia zarezerwować stolik, gdyż rzesza fanów kulinarnych podróży w świat tych cudownych glutenowych pyszności wciąż rośnie i nieomal o każdej porze dnia knajpa pęka w szwach.

Food of the week: Rhubarb⠀

Rhubarb is a vegetable known for its reddish stalks and sour taste. Several varieties and species exist. In the West, the most common variety is called culinary or garden rhubarb (Rheum x hybridum). ⠀
Rhubarb is most often thought of as a vibrant fruit because of its sweet, tart taste, particularly since it’s most often found in bakery-style creations, such as a rhubarb pie. While technically it is a vegetable, legally it’s considered a fruit due to a 1947 court ruling. Talk about confusing.⠀
When eaten alone, this fruit-like veggie is very tart. That is why it’s mostly seen in pies and jams or stewed with lots of sugar and other sweet fruits, such as strawberries. While the stalk, known as the petiole, is the most common edible component, the unopened flowers are also edible and considered a delicacy in northern Asia.⠀
**The stalks and flowers are the only edible parts of the plant while the rhubarb leaves can actually be toxic due to the presence of compounds like oxalic acid and anthraquinone glycosides.**⠀
But despite there being some parts of the plant that are not edible and pose some risk, there are health benefits a plenty for the edible parts:⠀
*Eases digestion- The fiber in rhubarb eases abdominal discomfort and promotes a healthy and normal digestion process. ⠀
*Strengthens bones- Rhubarb packs a good dose of vitamin K, which plays a central role in bone metabolism and may even offer protection against osteoporosis. This is because vitamin K is required for the carboxylation of osteocalcin, an important protein hormone that is involved in bone formation and bone turnover. ⠀
*Stave off brain disorders- It has been shown to protect the brain from neurological damage, which in turn can help prevent disorders that affect the brain. ⠀
*Fights free radical damage- Rhubarb is packed with antioxidants, which fight free radicals and keep inflammation at bay.,⠀
*Relieves constipation & diarrhea- Thanks to its ability to ease digestion, rhubarb can also relieve constipation and diarrhea. ⠀
*Lowers inflammation- The antiviral effects of rhubarb also help inhibit inflammation, making it an effective anti-inflammatory.

Food of the week: ✨ BRAIN MASALA✨

Brain Masala is a popular dish which actually uses brains of goat cooked in a spicy masala. The offal dish is a significant part of Indian Muslim, Bangladeshi and Pakistani cuisine (where it is called Maghaz Bhuna). It is cooked with butter, onions, tomatoes and authentic Indian spices.

We are sure you’ll love it ❤️

.
. 📷 Green 14 Bowl (with Tessame Avocado Ranch dressing which is the best dressing around. I was going through withdrawals from it).
. 'The Chocolate One' Protein Smoothie
.

And an Immune Booster Shot
