I have been doing some serious self reflection lately. I have spent a lot of effort trying to catch the attention of others and make others proud of me. I’ve suffered a lot because while looking for love and appreciation elsewhere, I was neglecting myself. The only love I really NEED is my own. I need to love myself, accept myself, appreciate myself, and let the rest be. As I’ve started focusing more on this, I’ve felt more peace than I have in a long time. Tonights supper was something new !
It was a hit with the kids althought Amelie didn't kike the idea of eating "funny bunny" but after much protesting she tried it and asked fot second.
Husband not so much he seemed excited earlier in the day buy was excited wheb he got to finally eat it.
Oh well he had coconut shrimp for lunch so dont feel too bad for him.

My hubby came home last night but leaves again in the morning!
It’s church lunch and maybe some pool time today.
Oh and I have a few things to do to get ready for tomorrow!
What tomorrow... the start of a brand new fitness program that is lifting and HIT !
It’s 30-40 minutes only 4 days a week with a built in cheat day!

I should have done this weeks ago but I didn’t have a big enough blender!
When you need 3-4 servings of veggies in the morning you make a smoothie and you use your vegan vanilla supperfoods!
So much easier then all the breakfast prep I have been doing!
It also taste like white not the lawn so that is a major plus!
I think adding carrots and spices like carrot cake might be my next try!
There is something about traveling that gives me great angst. I analyze my packing list over and over inside of my head to make sure I have everything, or continuously wonder if items with more than 2 ounces of liquid have been stored in my checked bag instead of my carry on! This is what I've finally learned: invest in some shoes with no laces, stuff the wires in my purse, and use an itty, bitty bag for the rest...#wanderer#forgettherest

Supper tonight is Asian style eggplant and shrimp ! I live keeping wild caught seafood in my freezer because I can defrost it quickly and turn it into a meal!
Asian style food is easy to pull off with coconut oil, seasame oil, garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, and red pepper.
Yep I hate cardio it’s hard especially when I am congested and can’t breathe but I showed up for myself today and got it done!
For me right now it’s about building myself back up so I cannot expect myself to perform like I did before I got sick 2 1/2 weeks ago !
Give yourself the grace of only doing your personal best each and every day no matter what that might be for that day.
I have not always been “the athletic type” pretty much anything that involved me having to do more than socializing with my friends, cooking for my friends or swimming in a pool was something I would not be participating in. Don’t get me wrong, I love people but.... I’m an introverted extrovert soooooo I don’t fall in love with people until I know them, and then they are pretty much just family well as an adult I started doing this thing where I started to learn new hobbies just for fun. And at first with the whole workout thing I thought I was crazy because cardio was not at all my jam and all I did at first was cardio I think a lot of the hobbies I have come to love as an adult are like that. When I find the fun in something all I speak out is fun. That’s it. No more expectations beyond that. If I win the game, that’s awesome, if I don’t do my best then who cares because I had fun! Today I was gifted my own set of clubs. And If you can’t tell, im just really excited to have some fun at trying to not hit the ball in the pond and maybe even hitting it a little farther stop taking yourself seriously! Find the fun, do our best and then forget the rest!
Step 3 is all about nutrition! You better be ready to eat and eat clean! So many people are handed a piece of paper and shoved out the door.
