I have been working on this recipe for a while now trying to eliminate as many ingredients as possible without loosing the taste. The result is this super crispy and firm burger as you might have seen on my stories. You only need 4 main ingredients and 4 spices. Yup!! It's that easy✌️
Try this burger with a real burger bun to get the full experience🍔I'm more of a greens person, so I paired mine with a kale & broccoli salad massaged with cider topped with hemp seeds. Also half of an avocado topped with chili flakes.

Ingredients:
3 cups cooked black beans
1/3 cup walnuts, crumbled
1 cup oat flour
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt as needed
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. In the meantime, sautéed the onions until golden brown. Then add crumbled walnut, paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin and oregano. Sauté for 3-5 minutes or until you get a chorizo looking mixture.
3. Add 2 cups of black beans and mash them completely. Then add the rest of black beans, the onion/walnut mixture, salt and oat floor. 4. Taste and adjust seasoning. If the mixture is too wet, add some more oat floor. It should be moist but moldable.
4. Make burger patties with your hand and place them on a a parchment lined baking sheet. You can also use pancake molds to make more precise circles.
5. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until they become as crispy as you like it.

Cashew cream cheese in the making. The hubs suggested I film how to make it, but since it takes 8 hours to make the soy yogurt and 24-48 hours to culture the cream cheese, I felt like that might be too long and waaayyy boring for y’all to watch. 🤣😂🤣 Maybe the teen won’t inhale this batch as fast. 🙅🏼‍♀️ Freezes well.

Well it's been a day. I'm posting anyway because in reality everyday isn't awesome. I'm tired and hurting. I have no energy and am still working a full day. It happens. I'm still plant strong at least that's on point!
I'm going to have to self care hard tonight.
