Rascal is a 2 year old 60lb pointer (German shorthaired) mix. He is a very affectionate pup who doesn’t always know his size. He loves to curl up in your lap or sleep at your feet. He gets along very well with his foster family's small dogs. Rascal is housebroken, crate trained, knows basics commands (sit, down) and learns very quickly.
Rascal's prior family was evicted and left him at a high kill shelter. Perhaps because of his ordeal, he is anxious around strangers and will bark at people he doesn’t know. PAW is working with him on this, but he will need a dog saavy owner who is willing to continue his training. He would probably do best in a mostly adult home.
Rascal takes a little work to win over bit once you do, you will have a best friend and guardian for life!
