Back in April our company took a trip to Cali. On our last day as soon we arrived at Venice Beach, my phone rang. State of Michigan was calling, a call I have been waiting on for SOOO long. The following day we arrived back home, and my two nephews and neice moved in after signing power of attorney paperwork. 3 months later, the paperwork changed to relative foster care.. Monday marked 60 days since that paperwork was signed and I cant even put into words the amount of happiness I felt that day, and everyday since. We have 7 more months of this journey left before a judge will decide if their parents have progressed or not. So far, nothing has changed... but what has changed? These 3 amazing little humans have grown, SO much and every single day they amaze me a little bit more. I have no kids of my own, and neither does my boyfriend, we are both only 23. But what we do have is love, and a home in which they belong. ❤ I have always been a workaholic, I would work as many hours as I can, & before Claw I worked two jobs at a time, just because I loved to. & although the transition has been tough, I know that I am changing THEIR life. I am making their days happy, not sad. They now have a room of their own, a bed of their own, TOYS, & lots of CLOTHES.
You never realize what the small things mean, until you watch a young child over the top happy when they get a new outfit, socks, underwear, homecooked meal, shoes... My prayers were finally answered, and our home is Blessed.💛 #PersonalPost #FosterParents #Blessed #Thankful #NightOwl #InMyFeelings #AuntSarah #UncleK #Family
