Happy Monday everyone! This has been on my mind lately: So much of our happiness has to do with how we relate to others. We need people in our lives who show us love and who lift us up — in both the good times and the bad.
In the past week I’ve had really incredible, supportive, loving, fun interactions with some amazing friends and family... as well as some unfortunately painful ones (Ghosting, anyone? Going to write a post about it for next week, because woah, it’s crazy making). Pay attention to how you feel after you interact with someone... if you feel depleted or on edge, that person is probably not respecting you or treating you well. That doesn’t necessarily mean they’re bad... but they might be bad for you.
You see, YOU alone decide your worth, and once you realize how amazing you actually are, you’ll find it gets easier to ensure that the people in your life treat you like the beautiful, powerful spirit that you really are. And the ones that don’t? Don’t waste your precious energy.
