A little pop of colour to brighten up your Friday - the weekend is in sight
Seriously though, how fresh and delicious does this look?!
Eating real food is SO important for our health. I think the biggest misconception about eating well is that it is boring, which is so far from the truth! Nourishing fresh fruits and vegetables are just the start.
And one way to get more fruit and veg in your life is to follow the Flexitarian diet - meat is still on the menu but fruit and veg, along with pulses, grains, etc are the star of the show. But there's more to this 'diet' than simply cutting out meat most meals - we give a run down on the flexi diet, discuss possible repercussions for our planet, and more in our article 'Is the Flexitarian diet the best of both worlds?' --> link in bio Do you follow the flexi diet or have you been considering ways you might be able to get more veg in your diet?
I’m SO excited I get to go to this epic event to be with “my people”! My body feels and works very well when I eat Vegan food choices.
Focusing on veggies and plant based proteins is what I prefer.
I understand and have personally experience the beneficial power that nutrition (and chiropractic) has on our body. It’s an AMAZING ability that our body has to restore, heal and energize. It is such a God-given blessing and Nature’s gift!
I recommend my patients do at least one day per week meatless and and unlimited veggies, indulge in the power of antioxidants from fruits and load up on tons of water. This combination helps people manage stress, depression, fatigue, or any dis-“ease” happening in the body. .
Who’s going this weekend?! Come say hi!! 🥥
Hey bikini season. 🧢
I see you and I raise you one: grapefruit! Okay I have no idea about poker ... but I do know how fabulous grapefruit is. And with all the gals at my salon chowing them down, I thought I better get on it too! #rubyredgrapefruit are stunners!!! But not only are they good for the insta, they are perfect for getting ready for bikini season (or what ever your wearing or doing!) They help increase metabolic rate, power house of vitamin C and even help with inflammation! High in water content, high in fiber (helps ya feel full) and low in calories and natural sugars too!!!
Traditional homemade #acaibowl with no added sweetners other than the fruit and granola, so you can really get the full açaí berry taste (this was made by blending 2 açaí purée packets, and a frozen banana.... which ended up being WAY to much for me to eat, so ill probably use 1 packet next time. Add whatever toppings you fancy and dig in!) #breakfast#soyummy#fruitfordays
Cultivating a flourishing balance starts within and is outwardly expressed
