Need to be honest here.
I struggle to consume the daily recommended portions of fruits 🍓and vegetables 🥬 .... and all I eat are plants.
I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem. According to the CDC, only 1️⃣ in 1️⃣0️⃣ adults get enough fruits or vegetables.
Federal guidelines recommend that adults get at least 1.5-2 cups of fruit per day and 2-3 cups of vegetables per day.
Because very few Americans eat the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables everyday, most are at risk for chronic illness. In fact, 7 of the top 10 leading causes of death in the U.S. are from chronic diseases.
So, what can we do?
In this day and age, everyone is so busy we don’t have time 🕤 to home cook 3 meals a day every week.
Well, I have found a great solution 💯 that I want to share with each and every one of you still reading this post. 👀
I have recently partnered with a whole food company. They take the raw fruits 🍎 and vegetables 🥦, blend & juice 🍉them, and then remove the water. All that remains are the phytonutrients! 🌀
What is a phytonutrient ❔❔❔
Basically, any substance in plants 🌱 which help to prevent various diseases.
