Next Monday I am having surgery. I’m finally correcting issues that I’ve been dealing with since having a batched csection and lengthy recovery almost 17 years ago. It’s going to be a major surgery and I am happy to be able to do it now, while I’m still relatively young and in good health. With the one week countdown on, I’m focusing on nutrient density this week. Unlimited fruits and vegetables, limited grains (they do a number on my tummy sometimes), limited salt, and lots of water. Im interested to see how my recovery goes, because this is the eating plan I will continue throughout recovery, which will take a few months. Been getting headaches pretty consistently lately & had a few stomachaches as well which is not normal for me. not clear on exactly why but I’m sure some of it is nutrition (been treating myself too much lately— I’ll admit it ) & also from my sleep not being as good — thanks to my who think anytime I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night that it’s time to feed them.. ♀️
Really resting my body today & just relaxing, drinking tons of water, tea & water as well as eating mainly lots of fruits & veggies to hopefully clear out my system a little bit!
It’s been so so hot here in Kansas so maybe I’m dehydrated a bit, but I am trying my best to drink as much water as possible. No matter why I’ve been feeling crummy lately I am definitely feeling better today after some additional rest & relaxation, which tells me that my body NEEDED IT! Ready for the week! Excited to keep trucking away at this amazing opportunity I have & truly focus on my nutrition! It’s hard & Neither me or my coaches are perfect at it but we are TRYING! & we are trying to help others who struggle with these same issues.
