Deadlifts!

Best posterior builder. Great for overall back development but also glutes and hamstrings.

One of the biggest things I see people doing is not engaging their glutes. I always explain that the glutes initialize the movement and the back finishes it.

Another good tip is to activate your lats and glutes prior to lifting the weight. It's going to help with muscle engagement and it will make your lift that much better. Your lower back will thank me! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tonight was a full body night since I did not do any of my regular gym workouts for a week. I warmed up with a 9:39 mile run ( I ran part of the way on incline ) very impressed with myself since I have not ran in a week. .
.
I took that week off and ate like crap but you know what I needed it. I needed a bit of rest and needed the foods I have eaten. I donโ€™t feel guilty and I am not beating myself up for it. Working out should not be punishment. You should workout because you want to and if it makes you feel good.
