Carpe Diem, Quam Minimum Credula Postero 🕰
BenAdvisor: What a quaint little spot Gastown was. Amazing how this industrial oasis sprouted out of nowhere in the heart of the city. This steamclock is one of the only functioning steam-powered clocks in the world, and it might have been the first of its kind that was ever built at that time. Blowing off steam every hour and every quarter hour, it has a chime melody that is similar to that of the Big Ben. 7/10 would recommend coming all the way to Gastown to checkout this historic landmark, and I strongly recommend to try out the Cream Ravioli at @theoldspaghettifactory just down the road. Watch out which direction you’re walking tho as you can find the old Chinatown area just at the edge of Gastown. We noticed a couple of shady figures and drug exchanges as we approach the periphery, with the constant whiff of Cannabis/Weed in the air and on those commuters.
