This @seamworkmag #catarinadress was the first one I ever made, and was meant to be a cheap practice run (the viscose fabric was a remnant that cost me about £8 off eBay)... but it’s actually the version that gets the most wear ♀️
I’ve been wearing it a lot in the heatwave that London is currently having, and it’s super cool and comfy. I think it’s the viscose - it’s so light and airy.
I recently made a Catarina from satin and wasn’t really keen on it, and wrote off the pattern because the last couple of versions I’d made were a bit meh... but I feel like I want more of them in viscose. It’s strange how your choice in fabric can totally change your view of a garment, isn’t it
