Today was supposed to be a squat/bench/deadlift day but I’ve been having some hip problems and am in a lot of pain while squatting so I’m just going to give it some rest and the recovery it needs. Since I was limited to bench, I did 255 for sets of 7 and they felt pretty smooth. Finished off with a good chest and tricep workout

Seated calf raises are a great way to train the Soleus which sits under the Gastrocnemius and gives the calf thickness. When doing seated calf raises, make sure to use full range of motion and control the weight all the way through. Since your calves are built for endurance with majority slow twitch muscle fibers, using high reps and weight is the best method for training them. I shoot for 15+ reps per set.

Stretch completely at the bottom of each rep, and then pull the weight and retract your scapula for a full contraction! Also, pull to your hips to avoid bicep activation!

Finally back to squatting decent weight. I did a 5x3 w/ 315lbs and it felt good. My knee started hurting pretty bad last week so I haven’t squatted in a while. Today it felt a lot better, hopefully I’ll make a full recovery pretty soon👍🏼

SUNDAY STRONGMAN (kinda)
a nice push day mixed in with some arms and strongman stuff. glad to say i am back to full OHP’s though significantly weaker.

we got creative and improvised some strongman routines at the end of the workout. it was absolutely killer using 36kg kettlebell walks and 90 pound DB carries, but it was super fun doing it. don’t worry, we walked back at the end, the video just cut off at 1 minute.

Rear delt pulls💪🏽 I use this exercise in most of my shoulder work outs it works my lower traps, Rhomboids and rear Deltoids. Give it a try and focus on squeezing your muscles when you contract!

| Leider heute keine sauberen Kniebeugen. Keine flüssige Bewegung. Mein Arsch kommt zu erst, meine Handgelenke sind nicht Top und mein rechtes Knie schmerzt etwas. Aber auch solche Tage gibt es und gehören dazu. Ich kann hier nur noch einmal betonen wie wichtig es ist sich zu Beginn des Trainings aufzuwärmen ! genügend Schlaf ebenso. + - 8 Stunden Schlaf sollten drin sein. Zudem achtet auf eure Kcalzufuhr und einer Carblastige Mahlzeit vor dem Training ⬅️ ist aber kein Muss. 102,5 Kg im 6x7 ballern und dafür braucht man volle Glykogenspeicher, sonst wird das nichts. Eins sollte klar sein. Jede Erfahrung die du in deinem Leben machst wird dir in Zukunft helfen, doch bedenke das du jede Erfahrung die du gemacht hast NEU erleben kannst.
