How Much Emphasis Do You Put on Your Conditioning?
We've all heard the mantra, technique beats strength and all that BS but when you're blowing out your technique doesn't seem to be able to work and your reaction seems to be slower, and now that training partner who is fitter and in better shape is crushing you.
Being the fitter person doesn't seem like such a bad idea now does it?
You can also reach a point in a round or match where you start looking for a way out as fatigue takes a tight grip of you and everything you do seems helpless and there's a little voice that sets that tells you about all the ways you can get out of there. It also causes you to make some really bad decisions that you might not make if you weren't tired and thinking clearer.
Now you can get fitter through just grappling, but there's no marker track progress and more importantly when you're tired you aren't going to push yourself as hard and especially when the round isn't going your way you'll want to slow the pace down and get into your comfort zone (if you tell me you don't, you're kidding yourself). Adding in some extra cardio to your training week will work wonders on your conditioning and help keep your brain in the game, get more out of your sessions and really give you the ability to out work your opponent in competition and get them to break first.
A wise man once said "fatigue makes cowards of us all" so let's do everything we can to keep away from it.

I get a lot of questions about how I make my fries, and itโ€™s actually very simple!! So I usually use russet or Yukon gold potatoes and go through the following steps:
-preheat oven to 425 (I like to use the convention setting so they cook evenly)
-wash the potatoes really well -dry them slightly but leave a bit of moisture so the seasoning will stick -chop into fry or wedge shapes (depending on the size I cut them into 3 or 4 even sections going lengthwise, then cut each section into an additional 3 to 4 piece to make a nice wedge)
-transfer to a bowl and season with whatever you want! I like using garlic, paprika, onion powder, and everything bagel seasoning -spread evenly on a silicone baking mat (this makes sure they donโ€™t stick and helps them cook really well) -bake for about 35 minutes or until theyโ€™re nice and crispy!
Enjoy with guac, ketchup, hummus, or whatever you like ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Rest day yesterday, so felt really invigorated hitting my legs tonight after work.
No matter what I change, Romanians are always a constant in my leg routine, only variation is either dumbbell or Olympic bar versions. My favourite move, savage as anything on the hammys. Also done seated leg press, Bulgarian split squats, light leg extensions (protect the knees going lighter), seated calf raises and some triceps to finish.
11 days to go on the @silverdalenz @snapfitness @lifelinenz 8WC and I'm kinda eager to see my before and after photos. Just hoping there's some noticeable differences ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ’ช โ˜บ๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘. .

Why do Beautiful Outlooks and Holidays bring us motivation to smash a solid gym session??? BUT normal work days require habit to make us stick to schedules??? .
Today I was not feeling it I just didnโ€™t want to go to the gym at all but my calendar reminder popped up for my gym session so I laced up my sneakers and stuck to my schedule ... Thank goodness for my training timetable keeping me accountable!!!

Guys im back ! Been off the gram for awhile as iv been focusing on my weight for the past year ๐Ÿ˜Œ got to a point where i was so insecure about myself hated going out, hated being in photos etc I got to a point where I had enough and booked into a nutritionist started the gym and have be smashing it since march last year ๐Ÿ˜… Now that im 23 kgs down im half way to my goal weight ! It hasnt been easy tho iv had days where i absolutely pig out but i just jump back on the horse and keep pushing. So I thought id make a fresh page and make a little come back ๐Ÿ˜… (also my last page got hacked) but also im working on bringing my itsefanny channel back up and running so hopefully that will be up soon but yeeeh dont be shy to give your boy a little shoutout to ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜‰
