"HOW MANY TIMES CAN A HEART BE BROKEN"
DODGERS 1 GIANTS 2
How disheartening is that losing another in the 9th inning. The Dodgers last 4 losses were all due to bad bullpen. The 4 starting pitchers carried a 2.05 ERA and kept the opponent at bay to an .196 batting average yet we still loss all 4 games. Again, the Dodgers starting pitcher held the Giants to a 1 run game until the bullpen took over in the 9th. Leave the bulls in the pen until Jansen comes back. Today, Alex Wood will be on the hill a record of 7-6 with an ERA of 3.58 going against Andrew Suárez a record od 4-8 an ERA 4.64.
Top of the 2nd, Longoria was hit by a pitch, single by Huntley and single by Hanson drove in 1 run for the Giants. 2 hits going into the 8th inning by the Dodgers, the offense is sputtering, you cant score if you cant hit. Double by Turner and a single by Machado tied up the score of 1-1 bottom of the 8th
Kenta Maeda came in to do relief hoping he can do better than the last 4 losses. The same result played out in the 9th. Brandon Belt came in on the winning run from a hit by Hanson in the 9th. Another one bites the dust.
We need get all of losses out of the way, so we can peak the last 40 games.
