The fake ass smile you put on after an intense workout because you have no energy left! Slowly getting my strength back up. For the past 3 weeks, I struggled to push 152.5kg hip thrust, but managed to hit 5x4 162.5 (really stoked). Front squats are also looking good! Managed 7x3 62.5kgs but failed 3rd rep on last set. My high carb eating 🍚🍚🍚 is doing me well

Sometimes you can't see the progress.

Somedays you will feel like it’s a slow journey and not much is happening. But I’m telling you it is happening girlfriend! In the beginning I wasn’t sure if my 30-day challenge had any effect on me until I looked in the mirror and compared two pics of me: Pic 1 was taken on day 1, and pic 2 was taken on day 20. Holly molly 🙊. ⠀⠀

A little #transformationtuesday for you guys and gals. There are 7 months between these pics but this is what those months consisted of...
10 weeks/2.5months - lean bulk where we focused on adding a bit of muscle but trying to slowly lose or maintain bodyfat. When leaning down we simply applied a small deficit so as to preserve the glute and leg gains and just slowly tightened with the view of peaking.
As with most women the December period is a time of eat or be eaten 😂 and that was where we started. @karenkhan_ work on more of a partnership basis as opposed to a authoritarian basis as she knows a thing or 3 about getting In shape already

I found my 1RM at deadlifts the other day, which ended at 💯 kgs 🙋🏼‍♀️ Yesterday I worked with 80 kgs, 3x5 reps 🙆🏼‍♀️ Moving forward, finally 🤩

SUPER STOKED!! I've been back in the gym (my home 😍) for 2.5 weeks now. On ship I had ZERO access to a bar bell so I had to tailor and adapt to dumbbells and limited resistance machines.
I had to control myself from going in hard and ease my way back to it. I tester my 1RM on deadlift and got 100kg EASY 😍 It's not quite the 120kg I was doing 6.5 months ago, bit for someone that has touched a bar bell in that much time, I'm pretty proud of. Muscle memory is a beautiful thing, just because you can't do something doesn't mean you give up. You ADAPT and MOULD yourself to your new surroundings, just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's lost.

Not been sleeping very well the last few days so energy levels are low & we all know caffeine doesnt do much for me anymore.

Haven't weighed myself since last check in and I'm surprisingly okay with that.
My clothes are getting looser and I'm fitting into old stuff that wouldn't go round my hips a few weeks ago.

Just under 8 weeks left now so just gotta keep pushing and get the work done.
Still enjoying most training sessions and appetite has yet to return to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

FITNESS HACK✔️
As promised, this is a continuation of my post about body types from last week. Scroll down my feed to read the post and know your body type so you cab understand this post better😙

To get the best results, you should train according to what body type you have.
1. Ectomorph: Ectomorphs are good at processing carbohydrates into energy and your fast metabolism means that you burn off fat easily. To become more muscular, you need to keep cardio sessions to a minimum and focus on intense workouts using compound exercises to maximise growth hormone release.
Keep cardio to a minimum, do squats, lunges, deadlifts, ab exercises, press and push ups and strength training with weights. Eat good carbohydrates, loads of proteins and good fats.

2. Mesomorph:  Mesomorphs look well built without setting foot in a gym, and pack on muscle easily. But they tend to take their naturally athletic builds for granted, which can result in diluted workouts and poor diets. It is best to train athletically by doing  low reps and power moves.
HIIT workouts like sprints, box and vertical jumps, skipping, jump squats and burpees. You should eat a moderate amount of carbohydrates, lean protein and healthy fats.

3. Endomorph: Endomorphs are good at storing fuel, with muscle and fat concentrated in the lower body which makes it the hardest body type to have in terms of managing your weight and overall fitness.
Cardio and strength training is best for this body type. Exercises like jogging, running, swimming, aerobics, jump squats and strength training with weights are best. Your diet should be low carbohydrates, low fat and high amount of proteins, fruits, vegetables and fibres.
