Heeeere we go. Lol. I have a lot to say about this one. Genuine perfection!!!!
We had all 4 of the Duck Club Buns - and each one (i didn’t try the crab) was genuinely up there with the best flavour combos I’ve ever tried.
Bun 1 - Shredded Spiced BBQ Duck, Pomegranate Mayo, Pickled Cabbage and Coriander
Bun 2 - Orkney Crab, Bloody Mary Ketchup and Creme Fraiche
Bun 3 - Crispy Battered Highland Brie, Homemade Sriracha, Roast Red Peppers, Gem and Chives
Bun 4 - Venison Burger, Nduja Jam, Sesame Fried Onions and Comte
We also shared the salted Duck Fat Fries and the Duck Fat Fries topped with Tobacco Onions, Aioli and Chives (pictured).
Highlight(s): the pomegranate mayo with the shredded Duck was (ducking) AMAZING (although I’m realising after my last post that I’m maybe just a sucker for pomegranate lol) and these fries were sooooooooooooo good. These were like a boujee, indulgent, tastier version of chippy chips with garlic mayo. And the ONIONS !!!!!
Value for Money: 💛💛💛💛/5
I was genuinely dancing in my seat while eating this. It was SO good. Will be back for brunch.
Also on a side note the service here was SUPER lovely and really efficient as well. I think I might have found my new fave spot in Glasgow.
