Quinoa porridge makes such a nice change from oats. The texture is perfection, its way more filling and it's higher in protein! The apple & cinnamon flavours in this bowl are so warming and comforting on a drizzly Monday morning I also used @linwoodshealthfoods Apple & Cinnamon flavour flax and chia seed mix which is my favourite thing to add to porridge bowls. Not only does it add a wonderful texture and sweet taste but gives you a boost of omega 3, fibre and manganese The recipe for this breakfast will be on the @linwoodshealthfoods soon!

Hi friends! This is my first post, so here's a mini introduction. On one hand, I strongly dislike cooking. It takes ages, you have to wash dishes, and sometimes (most times) I burn stuff. On the other hand, cooking allows me to nourish my body optimally and enables me to pursue weightlifting/sports/life to the extent that I want to. I figured having a place to post what I make would motivate me to actually get into the kitchen and cook. Plus having a separate account means I won't bombard my friends with kitchen shenanigans. Oh, and why batgirl? I like superheroes, and my name's Robin. It seemed fitting. That's all I think. Follow along for the ride if you want... or not. Things could get messy over here.
Another signature dish I have a million variations of... mini frittatas! I love making these babies for retreats, visiting families, and my own friends. I actually made two different batches of these today... this morning I whipped up some made with broccolini & pesto to bring breakfast in bed to some close friends getting ready to welcome their first baby into the world! Then I drove across the island and made these for a client/friend and her sweet family. Second batch is sausage, arugula, and tomato, with an arugula almond pesto on the side.
