What does peace look like to you? It looks like many things for us but in this moment we can't help but think that peace would be if children stopped being separated from their parents at the US border. Regardless of your political view, regardless of where you are from it is heartbreaking and this is not okay.

So many of us spend tooo much time searching for validation from others (some who we barely know or don’t even care for ) instead of looking within ourselves for confidence, standing tall, and finding comfort in who we are. One of the many things this journey has taught me is to love myself, my strengths, my weaknesses, etc. because they make me, me. And I can’t and shouldn’t want to be anyone else but a better version of the me I was yesterday Its crazy what a shift of mindset can do for your soul and happiness I am so happy with the reflection I see in the mirror every day

What are the things that motivate you when you’re having a hard week?
I began coaching because I needed a purpose. A focus to maintain my healthy lifestyle. I didn’t believe that it would be life changing or give me some of the best friends who challenge and support me day in and day out.
I still coach for accountability, but it is so much more now. It’s a community. A lifestyle. A family.
So, as I sit here and stare at Facebook and prepare for a whirlwind of fun this week, I ask myself what your reason may be? What you’re searching for?

Damn insta, life is BUSY for most of us. We are all fighting to be able to pay our bills or work towards our next goal, that it can truly occupy our entire day. Even worse some of us may have to travel far for work and or work crazy long hours that by the time we actually make it home we are WIPED. So going to the gym may seem pretty impossible. 🧐
But as for me, impossible just doesn’t line up when I am either.
A) Trying to better myself
B) Taking care of my health .
Even with my long days, I always make sure I hit my set fitness goals for the week. It is so important to take care of your body as it is the reason you get up and go everyday. IF my only “free time” is at 5am or 9pm at night, then SOLD I am going to suck it up and just do it.
But how do I actually do it? Aren’t I tired and overwhelmed?
Nada. I treat the gym no differently than my work. I actually factor the gym into my schedule as if it is another “job” I am required to do. Doing so, I feel accountable and will do what I need to in order to make sure I get it done. .
If you are a busy beee like me BUT make excuses that “work got in the way” I want you to try to fix your focus on making it another job like I do. I promise that once you do and you get in a rhythm and it will become second nature and eventually you might feel extremely “off” when you miss out.

Do you ever feel like you worked your butt off but didn’t really get anything accomplished ♂️♀️. There’s a huge difference from being busy and being productive ♂️♂️ Let go of the stuff that just takes up your time but does not move you closer to your goals . So what if you didn’t vacuum, or fold clothes or do the dishes right away. You can do that later. Do the things that really matter, things that get you toward your goals first.
