This is a powerful question, that we often get confused on, as we can think that is not loving yourself, but where is the line between
I like me and I love me.
I think we may not like ourselves in certain moments, but we do have to love ourselves first. Let me explain... Some time ago a friend asked me how do I love myself, what actions towards it?
For example for people that like to cook, do we cook as good for us as for the people we serve?
Loving ourselves is to put us first before anybody else, taking as much time to prepare for others as for ourselves too. Sometimes it is difficult to put ourselves first, but how can we love others if we don’t love the ME first.... Now we can look in the mirror and we can say, I don’t like me.... my hair is too long, I have to shave, I have to loose weight, I have to ......
That is the, I don’t like me, but doesn’t mean I don’t love ME.
When we decide to go get that hair cut, to shave, to eat healthy, to change something that will make us feel better, those small actions make the road to loving ourselves, because staying in one point thinking 🤔 I don’t like ME, won’t put ourselves on that path,
therefore the small actions after
the i don’t like....., Are the actions in loving 🥰 ourselves. Those tiny and simple decisions of changing the i don’t like me are part of loving the Me!yourself!myself!
So when you don’t like something about yourself change it! Thinking on you first! that becomes little steps towards improving and loving yourself more!
