#stopadani rally today in brisbane before #qldvotes this saturday. TL;DR: adani is cooked & make sure you vote for a party that rejects the adani coal mine and the $1 billion tax payer funded loan - #1 Greens, #2 Labour).
No country that actively invests in new coal mines, instead of renewable energy projects, can have a sustainable future. All of the coal from the adani coal mine will be shipping overseas, straight across the great barrier reef. This mine will destory the reef, destroy the land it is built on and the water tables that exist below it, and destroy aboriginal song lines that stretch across the land. Three times the Wangan and Jajalingou people of central (so-called) australia have rejected adani's Indigenous Land Use Agreement which would "authorise extinguishment of the native title act and allow the mine to proceed.
Let's make stopping adani the first big step towards a sustainable future.

Faced my deathly fear of the ocean today and dove in feet first to snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef! Did I think a shark was going to appear out of the abyss and the jaws theme music would start playing?... most definitely but it was amazing anyway!! #greatbarrierreef#australia#tradingmooseforkangaroos
