Curated by architect Heather Dubbeldam, Material Works showcases the work of local makers and artists who are exploring material in interesting ways - stools of coiled felt, hand-crafted wood tables and glass vases, artwork composed of dyed broom bristles and cow hides, household items made of reclaimed fabrics, paintings on clear acrylic - this exhibition showcases the wealth of creative practices in and around Toronto’s St. Clair West neighbourhood. Come visit the new creative hub at 1151 St. Clair Avenue West in a shared space with Dubbeldam Architecture + Design, Lokaal Coworking and Wallace Espresso.
