What does it take to be blonde and healthy? ♀️
This transformation was so much fun yesterday! During her consultation we determined our plan of action. She needed a full color correction due to having 4 different shades of blonde and a lot of brassiness on her ends. She had a lot of previous damage and I wasn’t sure how blonde I could get her in 1 session having never done her hair before
The key to a great consultation is never to over promise what you can deliver! Always keep that in mind
We don’t use any heat to process our blondes. Here is a couple of reasons why...
1. Heat blows the cuticle wide open making it extra hard to keep it healthy. Over time of using heat to process the hair becomes weaker and weaker, creating pot holes in the cuticle. This eventually causes breakage, or a chemical cut as we call it.
2. When heat is used, the blonde won’t hold the toner as well either, therefore making your toner wash out much quicker than it should.
3. Our lightener uses only body heat to process. It opens the cuticle enough to lighten the hair, then it closes the cuticle back down. This leaves the blonde so much shinier and healthier. It will also accept the toner and leave it looking so silky and shiny
I let my guest know that there was no guarantee that she would be the light beige blonde she was seeking in 1 session, however with patience and many steps to complete this, I was able to get all of her brassy tones out without any further damage. We also did 2 different treatments to heal her previous damage and prevent any further damage from happening. We worked on her color for 4 hours total and her color bill was $500 just for her color correction •
Then we added 20” extensions. I used 4 different shades of blondes to blend her color and make it look as if it grows right from her scalp. She walked out with a bounce in her step and thrilled to leave with her dream hair
Total time spent: 5.5 hours
Total Investment: $1600
Her smile: Priceless ⠀⠀
