How beautiful is this simple fruit salad?! It took about five minutes to throw together, is packed full of nutrients, and is the perfect way to start your day! Just cut up a variety of whatever fruit you have in the kitchen, then add a few chopped mint leaves, a sprinkle of chia seeds (to help with detoxing) and hemp seeds (packed with protein and amino acids), mix, and voila! A healthy breakfast that could make anyone smile. I used strawberries, kiwis, mango, and a blood orange! Yum!
Living #vegan is so rewarding. Now that my plates (and bowls, lots of bowls) consist of only plant foods, I swear eating is more invigorating and nourishing, physically and mentally. It’s hard not to stare in awe when your food is so cheery and bright! It’s also hard not to feel great when you are feeding your body with cruelty free, nutrient dense foods.
