Within all this conscious movement, the discovery of cosmic understanding is transcribed...
"It is written."
Your body is the microcosm of the macrocosmic universe... that is why when it is said, "know thyself" - the knowing of the self is actually the connection to the true knowing of 'God'.
Did you know that your brain is firing about 100 billion neurons per second?
That's about the same number of stars that exist in our Milly Way Galaxy.
Or that nerve impulses to and from the brain travel as fast as 170 miles per hour?
That's 1.3 times faster than the speed of a tornado moving across the earth.
...do you know, do you realize how much of a miracle you really are?
"You are the universe in ecstatic motion."
In the Anguttara Nikaya, the Buddha states, "There is one thing, monks, that, cultivated and regularly practiced leads to a deep sense of urgency... to the supreme peace... to mindfulness and clear comprehension... to the attainment of right vision and knowledge... to happiness here and now... to realizing deliverance by wisdom and the fruition of Holiness: It is mindfulness of the body."
It is through the body we are given the opportunity to heal... to move around and experience the world... to see color.. to feel rain...
It is through this vessel which holds our divine Light that we are able to experience love, to feel the spark of human embrace, to tangibly feel the Divinity of all That Is.
I teach yoga... and I tend to teach most about awareness of the body... but what I'm really instilling within you... is the path to knowing the divine cosmic universe, the Brahman that exists at the center of your own being.
I don't pull my knowledge from one source, but rather my knowledge is pooled...
It is collected and passed on from my own studies, my lineage of great teachers...
From the paths of Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Wiccan, Sufism, Confucianism, Ancient Egyptian Philosophy, Alchemy, Eastern Chi & Ki Healing, Western Bodywork & Therapy, Herbalism, Astrology, Anatomy...
It all comes down to the same thing...
All. Is. One.
