Some foods are so calorie dense like the avocado, oils and nuts, and because they are healthy we consume higher amounts, not realising the amount of calories in them. Others are just so easy and tasty to consume that we just don’t realise how much we have. This can quickly change you from a calorie deficit (needed to lose weight) to a calorie surplus (needed to gain weight). .
Yes nutritional value does matter, but your biggest focus should be calories in vs calories out!
