Staying lean isn’t rocket science, it just comes down to your diet! In order to stay lean, you must eat at a caloric surplus from your maintenance calorie (this is the amount of calories you must eat in order to maintain your normal weight), but avoid a huge excess of fat. This is called lean bulking. When lean bulking, you need to eat food that are high in calories, but has low fat content. For example, eggs, rice, peanut butter jelly sandwiches, ground beef (90% lean and 10% fat), yogurts, etc. Also, make sure to hit above your weight in grams of protein everyday in order to gain muscle mass. For example, if you weight 170 lbs like me right now, then you must intake at least 170g of protein every single day.
