A deload is a short planned period of recovery. You workout a little less, and take your training slightly lighter. Basically, you reduce your workload to recover, both mentally and physically, and to get energy back. It is recommended to reduce the total training volume per workout by 40%. If you are a beginner, you shouldn’t worry about taking a deload week. 👇

It is important to note that it’s better to incorporate deload weeks into your workout routine in advance rather than when you already feel exhausted. Taking a deload week is going to prevent it and you won’t feel tired in the first place. 🏋️

Why should you do it? First of all, this is going to help you break through plateau, and start getting stronger again. Moreover, taking a deload week is going to reduce the risk of an injury, and help with recovering of your joints and CNS. It also helps to regain motivation. Deload week is also a great time to practice your form, because the intensity will be lower on these days. 🚵

How often are you supposed to take a deload week? It is important to note that it depends on your experience level, age, type of training, and many other factors. You should find that out for yourself, but the rule of thumb is to take a deload week every 5th week. 👍

I think it’s safe to say as well that my program is going GREATTTT! never been so sore but man I can feel the progress about to explode ~

this was my leg day workout that I had:
3 Rep Max
Squat 3x8
SL deadlifts 3x10
Leg Extensions 3x10
Leg Curls 3x10 ~

I found out as well that if you go really light on Leg Extensions and Curls and really squeeze, you feel it so much better and it puts less stress on the knees 💪🏻⚡️⚡️

مرحله ناتوانی عضله ... دوستان اگر شما به مرحله ای رسیدید که عضلات شما کشش کافی را برای بالاتر اوردن و ادامه ست ها را نداشت به یاد داشته باشید ، اگر مواد غذایی مورد نیاز عضلات در طی رور تامین نشده باشد و بعد از تمرین هم روند عادی بدون تغذیه را طی کنید عضلات شما از بین میرود و خواهد سوخت .
اما اگر خوب تغذیه کرده و برنمه مرتب و منظم غذایی داشته باشید و عضلات خود را به مرحله ناتوانی برسانید عضلاتی حجیم و فرم داده شده خواهید داشت .

I have serious gym anxiety. Like, I really WANT to go to the gym but my anxiety wants me not to more. I actually paid for a gym membership last year for 6 mos and didn't go once. It's embarassing.
I guess it stems from a few things. The first being that I'm a huge introvert and would rather just be home. Also, I've never been to a gym, have no idea what to expect or what to do. I have no one to bring with me and of course there's the dreaded and totally ridiculous fear that I'll be the fluffiest person there and everyone will just stare at me. I know the whole thing is crazy but I just can't bring myself to push past it. Anyone else go through this and have any advice for me?

What exactly is a detox diet? Even though there are many different detox diets, their ultimate goal is to cleanse the body from harmful substances, often called toxins, through a diet consisting of certain food. Detox diets are usually very restrictive and limited to only juices, teas, or other drinks. Therefore, if you are on detox diet, you are probably eating far less calories than your body needs to function properly. Yes, you will lose weight if you are not eating enough calories, but not in a healthy way. 🍵

There was investigation in 2009 (Voice of young science). They asked ten companies if they could prove their product’s efficiency. Not only that they couldn’t do so, but they couldn’t even name the “toxins” targeted in their products. - 🤔 Does the body even need detox? The short answer is no. Your organs are already doing a great job in removing harmful substances, and they don’t need help from detox diets. Moreover, toxicity is best addressed by a well-fed body, and not the one that is weakened by a diet. That said, detox diets are going to do more harm than good. 📈

To conclude, if you are having a healthy, balanced diet consisted of whole foods, you don’t need “detox” to begin with, nor you should feel bad for yourself if you eat processed food from time to time. Focus on eating nutritious food on a daily basis, because they are way tastier and way better for you, and you are not going to have to starve yourself. 🍕
