1 year difference... Yeah ok, still haven't got the biggest glutes that you can rest ya pint on, but still progress all the same! (And considering I now live in a hot climate I'm the whitest I've been for years, I need a holiday!) I'm still undecided if I'll compete again, for now I'm enjoying my training with 4 strength sessions per week and 3-4 cardio sessions.
Very much 80/20 approach with my nutrition, (As most of u who know me, know that I love my Scran!) Focusing more on my recovery/sleep,( being a nurse, shift work can become tiring and tasking on the body!) And the one I struggle with mostly is learning to love the skin I am in, as some of you know, I do suffer with BDD, so don't always see what everybody else see's (yes I still to this day pick up clothes sizes 3x too big for me, coz that's the shape I still see....call me crazy) losing weight is all well and good physically, but shifting your mindset is the hardest part!! I often get people making comments saying 'you're so lucky to be so fit', which I agree, i am, and im internally grateful i can wake up everday and exercise the rate i do, but ask yourself before making that comment, what that person's journey was before to get to this point... Yeah I may not be ripped, with my ab's popping right now, but I'm happy and grateful for the body I do have, for the challenges it goes through daily and continually getting me through the other side.
This is me and there is no end goal... #ifbb #ifbbwa #bikini #show #athlete #prep #nutrition #training #muscles #weights #fitchick #fitgirl #abs #glutes #bodybuilding #journey #motivate #strongnotskinny #stronggirl #gym #gymgirl #lifting #fitfam #australia #uk #ukfitfam #fitness #fitnessaddict
