Gained 8.7lbs(lean) / Body Fat 14.37% down to 12.5%
Thank you for the support and motivation to put in the hard work. It may not seem like a huge difference visually, but knowing my chest & arms grew 3-4 inches, and my shirts and pants do not fit is a good feeling and pushes me to stay consistent.

Last night’s workout was an upper hyper day. So that means we were chasing the pump 💪🏼 Most sets were 3 sets with 15-20 reps per set. The pump was real last night. And super sore today 😂. Been really pushing hard lately and the work is paying off. Totally enjoying this process.

Should have posted this yesterday but it’s #humpday🐫 and I needed some motivation!
Nearly 6 stone difference between the two. I’ve set some new goals which I’ll be sharing soon!
But until there here’s a fab transformation. Like seriously. I was asked the other day how I’d changed since the photo on the left. I’d always focused on the numbers, whether than be pounds or inches. But she was like no, mentally, and it stumped for a moment, but actually mentally I’ve changed just as much as physically!🌸

"To bench a lot, you must bench a lot."

If you want to increase your bench press but you're only bench pressing 1x per week, then you're not doing everything in your power to increase your bench.
-
It's your goal. Do EVERYTHING in your power to increase that bench press. This means training the bench press 3x per week. Each day of the week uses a different set and rep scheme in order to maximize gains (Daily Undulating Periodization or DUP).

You'll have 3 different days:
-
Power Day. 6 sets of 3 reps with 70% 1RM. Pause for 3 seconds on your chest and explode up.
-
Strength Day. 5 sets of 5 reps with 80% your 1RM. Grind these bad boys out. Take lots of rest.
-
Hypertrophy Day. 4 sets of 8 reps with 70% 1RM. A bigger muscle is a stronger muscle, so we're going to build some size to help build the bench press strength.

You can set this up on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine and have some incredible bench press gains. In your first 2 weeks, it'll feel like overtraining, but once your body adapts, you can add 20lbs to your bench press in less than 90 days.

Are you headed in the right direction?

Do you know exactly what you want in life? If so then get started and work for it. If not, then you need to figure it out!

I think I am at the point in my life where I’m doing a lot of soul searching and experimenting a lot to see what I like, what I want to do for the rest of my life, and how I’m going to achieve my dreams. It is stressful!

But one thing I have learned while I am in the middle of this mess is: Just Try as many things as you can! Make yourself uncomfortable and do new things! Figure out what you like! It will be hard but the best advice is to just start and try new things. Eventually you will find something that you know you truly like and will want to do it for a long time.

Life is hard! But you can make it a lot more enjoyable if you are doing the things you love. You just need to find them, and execute. It might be stressful, it might be scary, and it might take a long time. But eventually, if you work hard, you will find something and people that will make you happy. And that’s what I think is true success.

May 2017- August 2018 pull up progress! A year and a half ago I tried to do a pull up for the first time since doing gymnastics over 8 years ago. Let’s just say it didn’t go so well and that was the beginning of a new goal for me! I have not stopped working at this goal since (been aiming for 10 in a row) and through weekly practice and lots of patience I am very happy with the progress I’ve made! The second clip is a video of my first time trying assisted pull ups - managed 8 with the band. First clip was a few days ago where I did as many as I could unassisted and I managed 8! Your body is capable of so much and with time & practice you’ll be amazed with what you can achieve! Set goals and stay consistent and results will come 🤗

I may not have all the answers. I wish I did, but I don't. Sometimes I forget to use the right "your"  when I type. I don't get why I can't slow down when I talk at times. Despite how successful I’ve been in my weight loss journey, I still struggle with times where I am unmotivated and the last thing I want to do is workout or stick to my meal plan. However, I do my best to stay disciplined through those times even if it’s not 100% what it should be because some type of effort is better than none at all. To be honest, at the end of the day, if we only did things when we felt motivated to do so, we would hardly ever accomplish anything.

I always try to encourage others to stick out whatever they are committed to no matter how many times they fall off the bandwagon because (I’ve said this a million times!) consistency beats perfection all the time and if you remain obsessed with getting back on track, success then becomes inevitable 💜

Little bit of an update: still Sticking to my 5 days a week and more definition is coming in and I'm happy with the work I've been putting in. I have maintained the same weight however, but have a new even leaner goal. Don't worry you guys I'm still lifting just upping my cardio. I’m really struggling w building the 🍑
It seems like there’s always a constant battle between abs & booty growth. Once I get one going, I seem to lose the other. Ever have that problem?
I’ve acknowledged that i’m not eating enough to obtain the muscle I need for those booty gainz. The food helps with all the growth while the exercises tone you up. Can’t have one without the other. So starting tomorrow, i’m gonna be adding in some healthy snacks throughout the day. Hopefully I’ll see some changes! I’ll keep ya’ll in the loop if anyone’s interested 🙋🏻‍♀️ If you’ve done the same thing for a long time, I think it’s super important to
re-evaluate what you’re doing and ask yourself... “is this helping me grow”. If yes, then continue to do what you’re doing and slayyyy 👑
But if the answer is no, then tweak things so that you can smash those goals you set for yourself & see just what u can achieve.
