I’ve seen SO many posts recently about people post comp saying they need to keep themselves ‘accountable’, don’t like themselves post show, feel they’ve had no structure or have missed out on so much time with friends and family that they’re now isolated. That’s all bullshit. You put effort in to what you WANT to put effort in to. I’ve had time off my regular eating, caught up with friends over meals etc, and had a few boozy nights out. I also plan on continuing doing all of the above. This is me today. 4 weeks post show. I train with purpose. I fuel my body with intention. And I make the conscious decision to enjoy time with friends and family. I’m completely honest with my coaches (who I adore), but more importantly I’m honest with myself. Every minute spent bashing yourself is one that COULD have been used taking you closer to your end goal. There isn’t one moment I don’t spend trying I get to mine. My advice, even though it wasn’t asked for; Stop wasting time with yours.
