Let’s talk snacks ~As someone who is always wanting to be eating/snacking on something, but not wanting to sabotage my fitness goals I’ve learned a thing or two about great low calorie snacks! try to choose something that has volume to it but is low calorie
always try to pick something nutritious over something that’s low calorie but filled with chemicals and preservatives!
here’s a couple of my favourite go-to snack ideas! * chopped fresh veggies (cucumber , bell pepper, baby carrots, peas, pickles) * Fresh fruit ~ melons and berries are great high volume/ low calorie options (raspberries, strawberries, watermelon, pineapple) * plain Greek yogurt with cinnamon or cocoa * Apple with cinnamon
A couple higher calorie/ more filling snacks * rice cakes with powdered peanut butter * Veggies and tzatiki Greek yogurt dip * plain Greek yogurt, frozen berries, protein powder ~ there’s a few of my favourite low cal/ nutritious go-to snacks!
If you’re trying to stick to a fitness goal having a couple snacks on hand are always a good idea! 🧠♀️
