Second leg day of the week aka heavy squat day!
For the longest time I stuck to accessory glute/leg exercises and never once touched a barbell. I had no idea what I was doing so I stayed away from it can anyone relate?! However, it wasn’t until I finally got myself under a barbell and learned how to squat that I saw some progress. It’s freakin tough and squat progress is slooooow progress...but hey, I couldn’t squat 155 for 5 reps a few months ago... so I’ll take it ♀️ still nowhere close where I want to be, but I’ll keep workin towards it!
Squats today: warm up sets at 115, then 1x5 @ 135, 2x5 @ 145, 1x5 @ 155, followed by 3x2 @ 165.
