Second leg day of the week aka heavy squat day!
.
For the longest time I stuck to accessory glute/leg exercises and never once touched a barbell. I had no idea what I was doing so I stayed away from it 😂😅 can anyone relate?! However, it wasn’t until I finally got myself under a barbell and learned how to squat that I saw some progress. It’s freakin tough and squat progress is slooooow progress...but hey, I couldn’t squat 155 for 5 reps a few months ago... so I’ll take it 🤷🏼‍♀️ still nowhere close where I want to be, but I’ll keep workin towards it!

Squats today: warm up sets at 115, then 1x5 @ 135, 2x5 @ 145, 1x5 @ 155, followed by 3x2 @ 165.

Seeing some Ab definition... and I’m super surprised.
With the traveling... and ahem... drinking. I’ve been eating wayyyy to many calories... the unhealthy kind.
I hardly drink nowadays and it’s made a big difference in the abdominal area. But one of my favorite things to do is dancing in the bar. So I drink maybe once a month... and at least once in every country I go to.
This summer is a cycle of getting cut and then eating whatever when I travel and then going back home to cut and then traveling again.
Some tips for you busy bees this summer
✅ Don’t bring your diet while to travel: I’ve never regretted what I ate overseas... no matter how “bad” it was. Overeating is when there’s a problem ✅ Workout at least once when you travel. It could be a body exercise or bands. Just activate those muscles
✅ fiber, fiber, fiber. Bring quest bars or cereal to help you poop
✅ hydrate
✅ pack protein powder. Finding pro pro is really hard over seas so bring your own
✅ when you return home... head straight to the gym and eat well! Don’t fall Into the habit of not taking care of yourself just because “you’re about to eat badly again anyway”

Today was leg day!! My favorite day! Here’s 2 videos of some things I like to do on leg day. First is hack squats, do 3x10. Second is goblet squats with cables and these things killlll your glutes.
On a good note, someone at the gym asked me how I get my abs so tight, which I am taking as a GREAT compliment.

I had so many different conversations with people who struggle with the same thing & I just want to say that you aren’t alone, it’s completely normal we all have things that we struggle with on a daily basis & not everyone you see on instagram is happy & positive 24/7🙇🏼‍♀️💛 I’m incredibly lucky to have the circle of people around me that help pull me out of it when I’m struggling but if you don’t, I always find it helpful to speak to someone that understands & my DMs are always open 💛

Back Day: Bent over rows using the smith machine at around 70kg/ 154lbs for 10 reps with superset with rows with a big stretch. This is thanks to @louisallenbodybuilding giving me new ideas

Chest Day: Bench Press for 8 reps at 110Kg/242lbs trying to reach 10 reps and also aiming for 120kg for reps. Can it be done?

Back Day: Bent Over Rows 130 KG / 286lbs for 7 reps in the first video making sure I’m able to build my back. The second video is 100kg/220lbs for 8 reps. Which do you think is better 1 or 2?

Back Day: Even though my calories have dropped very proud of being able lift 190kg / 418lbs for 4 reps. I feel I should have gone for another rep. Definitely had it in me.

Leg: Working on the RDL at 150kg / 330 lbs for 6 reps 3 sets. Due to the increase of 20Kg total more tension could be kept on my hamstrings.

Back Day: Bent Over Rows 140kg / 308lbs for 7 this was 2nd attempt of 140kg. I can say that there is more movement and I stretch a lot more than previously. Strength is definitely increase during a cutting period. -

Leg Day: Leg Press 490kg / 1080lbs for 12 reps. Pushing yourself each session makes a huge difference.

Back and Delts: Heavy Bent Over row 8x4 sets at 130Kg / 287lbs
Each week/ session I’m pushing myself to gain results and be where I want to be. It will take time and effort but will be worth it in the end. Always thanking @ryanmackinsbodybuilding as he has helped me come so far.

Back Day: Bent Over Rows 120kg / 264lbs from Deadlifts straight to heavy Bent Over Rows for 3 x 10 making sure every session counts. With some triceps showing @ryanmackinsbodybuilding definitely making sure these sessions count 😂

Back Day: Deadlifts 200Kg / 440lbs 5x5. Even though I’m having lower calories I need to push my self the same as when they are high to achieve the best results. Spoke with @ryanmackinsbodybuilding this morning about taking shorter rests and upping the intensity with week.

Leg Day: Leg Press 375kg/ 826lbs 3 sets 20 reps. Things to work on: slower on my reps to make sure I work my quads and get lower closer to 90 degrees trying not to rush. @ryanmackinsbodybuilding trying to gain the best possible results by making sure intensity is high and I push myself every rep

Leg Day: Front Squats Not a super heavy weight but sticking to 70KG / 155 lbs for 4 sets 8 reps. Using wraps to help with front squats due to the lack of flexibility in my wrist and shoulders. @ryanmackinsbodybuilding has got me pushing myself both with the diet and work outs.

PB week: can’t believe I have hit another PB with my squats. 200Kg for 1 which is 20kg heavier than previous. Thanks to @ryanmackinsbodybuilding for getting me this far. Let’s see where I am in 8 weeks time.

PB week: Absolutely pleased with another PB of 145Kg bench press which is 15kg heavier than previous PB.
